Hellooo!
It’s been crazy this year so please excuse the late post. I’ve been working on launching a new venture so I’ve not been able to dedicate as much time to my photography. Oops!
Even though I’ve not been able to get out and shoot as much so far, I will say my photography skills have still come in very handy with the new business as it’s helped me hone my product photography skills – yippee! What is this new venture I speak of you ask? Well it’s an online shop for custom and ready made gift boxes. Please do check it out 🙂
So, back to the matter at hand. What’s new photography wise? Well after months of slobbering over the Canon 24-70mm f2.8, I finally managed to get my hands on one and omnomnomnomnom I could not be any more pleased and thrilled to have this lens in my life. This, along with my Canon 85mm lens and Canon 5D classic & Mk II is like the dream team for capturing fashion and portrait shots.
I’m planning on setting up a few shoots this Summer to play around with the lens a bit more however, I have managed to arrange a test shoot with my good friend who you’ll recognise from previous posts.
The quality from this lens is so sharp and on point it made for such smooth editing in LR. Speaking of which, this test shoot also allowed me to practise my retouching skills more with my new Wacom graphics tablet which was incredibly helpful!
I also got a a dual shoulder strap holster as it’s quite clear I’ll need this to support me when I’m shooting with my 2 camera bodies & 2 lenses combo. Yaaay me.
Anyway, without further ado, I present to you the test pics. Enjoy 🙂
